Seeking a Travel-Ready Journeyman Electrician!

Are you ready to hit the road? We’re on the hunt for a skilled Journeyman Electrician who’s up for adventure! With travel demands reaching up to 90%, this position ensures you’ll be directly on-site at Project Locations, with occasional trips back home. And guess what? We’ve got your travel expenses covered! Position Summary:

Are you an electrician ready to take charge? Under general supervision, you’ll be handling a wide array of electrical duties, from installation to maintenance and repair. Get ready to tackle wiring, equipment, and electrical distribution systems like a pro. We’re talking about rough-ins, finished installations, tests, and maintenance on various electrical components.

Experience Level:

Journeyman

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Guide and support apprentices and helpers while keeping an eye on project progress.
  • Master all wire terminations with finesse.
  • Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit.
  • Pull wire through conduit like a seasoned pro.

Qualifications:

Are you qualified for the job? Here’s what you need:

  • A total of 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician in building construction or remodeling projects.
  • Solid knowledge of circuitry, voltages (120, 208, 240, 277, 480), single phase, 3 phase, WYE & Delta power, with the ability to wire transformers, lighting contractors, and motor starters.
  • Familiarity with underground duct bank and wiring installations.
  • Understanding of all building construction phases and various building crafts.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and specifications.

Requirements:

Ready to roll up your sleeves? Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Stand, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
  • Lift weights up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
  • Climb ladders and work from scaffolding and lifts.
  • Drive a company vehicle (truck) and travel long distances between job sites.
  • Perform other manual labor tasks as needed.
