Job Summary:
The Estimator role involves utilizing residential blueprints to perform load calculations, duct designs, and material takeoffs for HVAC installations in new construction homes. This position is crucial for determining expenditure and material requirements.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints and CAD drawings to develop HVAC load calculations and designs.
- Estimate material quantities and labor costs for HVAC system installations in new residential properties.
- Collaborate with sales and administrative teams across divisions as needed.
- Provide timely feedback and information to assigned divisions to support the bidding process.
- Communicate any internal issues or queries to team leaders or the Estimating Manager.
- Forecast material needs based on blueprint requirements.
- Adhere to company policies and safety procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
Basic CAD operating skills required.
Proficiency in estimating and load calculation software.
General computer competency, with at least 1-year experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends.

Physical Requirements:
Able to lift/move up to 20 pounds frequently. Frequent bending, kneeling, or crouching. Extended periods of standing, walking, or sitting. Adequate hearing and vision abilities. Ability to input data into a computer. Use of arms and hands for various tasks.
