Responsibilities:

• Understands and troubleshoots all Commercial HVAC and refrigeration and potentially more complex systems
• Troubleshoots electrical systems (both line voltage and control voltage) as they pertain to air conditioning/heat pump systems, gas fired units, multi-circuit DX systems and make up air units
• Performs start-ups, air balances, and commissioning of highly technical equipment
• Can provide estimates of service work and jobs
• Applies basic DDC skills; troubleshoots and installs chillers and boilers
• Helps mentor Apprentices, Skilled 1 and 2 Technicians in the Service Dept.

Experience and Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• HVAC training school certification
• 4-5 years of Commercial and Industrial experience with mechanical HVAC systems and equipment preferred
• Valid driver’s license
