As our Remodeling Apprentice, you will work closely with one of our lead carpenters on assigned projects and also independently handle routine maintenance tasks. This role involves a wide range of duties, including general labor, cleanup, and assisting with the actual construction work under supervision. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone new to the field who is eager to gain hands-on experience in various home improvement tasks.

**Responsibilities:**

– Assist in executing remodeling projects, such as bathroom and kitchen remodels

– Assist in performing carpentry tasks, including installing and repairing trim, windows, and doors

– Aid in installing and repairing decks and patios

– Help paint interior and exterior surfaces as required

– Assist in repairing and finishing drywall surfaces

– Participate in routine inspections to identify necessary repairs

– Perform routine maintenance tasks on a recurring basis

– Assist in repairing or replacing fixtures, appliances, and equipment

– Assist in installing and assembling furniture, fixtures, and equipment

– Assist in handling basic plumbing and electrical repairs

– Retrieve tools and materials as required

– Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas

– Perform routine maintenance on assigned homes

**Qualifications:**

– Previous experience in a similar role or a strong willingness to learn

– Completion of a vocational school or similar program is preferred

– Basic knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods

– Ability to use various tools and equipment

– Willingness to take direction and learn from experienced professionals

– Strong communication and customer service skills

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team

– Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and insurance preferred

– Ability to pass a background check
