Job Title: New Construction Plumber

Location: Martinsburg, WV

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced New Construction Plumber to join our team. The New Construction Plumber will be responsible for installing plumbing systems in new construction projects, ensuring that all work is completed to code and meets the highest standards of quality. Key Responsibilities:

1. Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and layout plumbing systems for new construction projects.
2. Install and assemble piping systems, fixtures, and appliances, including sinks, toilets, showers, bathtubs, and water heaters.
3. Cut, thread, and connect pipes using various tools and materials, such as soldering equipment, pipe wrenches, and tubing cutters.
4. Collaborate with contractors, builders, and other tradespeople to coordinate plumbing installations and ensure timely completion of projects.
5. Inspect plumbing systems for leaks, malfunctions, and code compliance, and make necessary repairs or adjustments as needed.
6. Test plumbing systems for proper functioning, including water pressure, flow, and drainage.
7. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including material usage, labor hours, and project progress.
8. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a plumber, with a focus on new construction projects preferred.
2. Valid plumbing license or certification preferred but not required.
3. Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
7. Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces.
8. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
