As our Lead Carpenter, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of home repair projects, including material acquisition, project execution, and customer invoicing. This role requires a high level of autonomy, so strong organizational skills, timeliness, and responsibility are crucial.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, possessing the necessary skills to complete a wide range of home repair and improvement projects. Additionally, you should have a desire to grow with our company and approach the home services industry with a fresh perspective.

Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to business growth by establishing and maintaining long-term customer relationships.

**Responsibilities:**

– Execute remodeling projects, including bathroom and kitchen remodels

– Perform carpentry tasks such as installing and repairing trim, windows, and doors

– Install and repair decks and patios

– Paint interior and exterior surfaces as required

– Repair and finish drywall surfaces

– Perform general maintenance and repairs in residential and commercial properties

– Conduct routine inspections to identify necessary repairs

– Perform routine maintenance tasks regularly

– Provide accurate estimates to customers

– Repair or replace broken fixtures, appliances, and equipment

– Install and assemble furniture, fixtures, and equipment

– Handle basic plumbing and electrical repairs

– Retrieve necessary tools and materials

– Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas

– Maintain a minimum level of billable hours per week

**Qualifications:**

– Proven experience as a carpenter/remodeler with knowledge in other trades

– Strong understanding of general maintenance processes for residential properties

– Proficiency in using various tools and equipment

– Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings

– Excellent problem-solving skills

– Strong communication and customer service skills

– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

– Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and insurance

– Able to pass a background check

– Must own day-to-day tools of the trade (specialty tools provided by the company)
