Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints to assess or plan plumbing installations and layouts
• Review Job Material requirements before the start of each day, confirming that material and equipment are available and ready
• Ensure Equipment and Material are at the Job Site, complete and on time
• Plan and carry out successive steps and resolve problems and deviations for Plumbing jobs in accordance with instructions and accepted practices
• Install or, in some cases, repair plumbing systems and fixtures
• Fit and install various household appliances to plumbing connections
• Cut, weld and assemble pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures
• Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems creatively
• Notify the Manager quickly of any problems that threaten job schedule, cost or quality
• Report Vehicle problems & maintain vehicle cleanliness and order
• Perform Work safely – safe for yourself and others
• Teach Apprentices the tasks, duties and judgments of a Plumber

Experience:

• 2+ years plumbing experience
• Trade school diploma or completed apprenticeship
