Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team with an immediate start date. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint coatings to various industrial equipment and structures. The Industrial Painter will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and durability of painted surfaces.

Duties:
– Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers
– Operate painting equipment such as air and airless paint sprayers
– Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades
– Apply paint coatings using various techniques
– Inspect painted surfaces for quality and touch up as needed
– Follow safety protocols and guidelines for handling paints and chemicals

Requirements:
– Minumum 2 years experience in industrial painting, including machinery painting and auto body repair
– Proficiency in using painting tools and equipment such as sprayers and brushes
– Knowledge of different types of paints, primers, and coatings
– Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings
– Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
– Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
– Mechanical knowledge for disassembly and reassembly of painted components

Skills:
– Fork lift operation for positioning large equipment
– Ability to assemble/disassemble painted components
– Auto painting expertise for automotive applications
– Forklift operation for material handling
– Skills for preparing surfaces before painting
