Responsibilities:

Position, align, fit, and weld parts to complete units or subunits, following blueprint and layout specifications
Drill, countersink, ream, and tap
Tack-weld fitted parts together
Weld in all positions
Position or tighten braces, jacks, clamps, ropes, or bolt straps
Use basic measuring tools, jigs, welding torches, and hand tools
Use cranes, hoists, and lifts according to safety standards and industry requirements

Experience:

Must have 3+ years’ experience metal contract manufacturing environment (preferably US Government Prime Contractors)
Proficient in Pulse or Pulse/Aluminum MIG 4043 or 5356 filler
Rivent, Keencert, and Helicoil installation experience
Proficient with a torch, track-torch, and plasma cutter
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to understand and work from blueprints, schematic drawings, & hand sketches
Possess the ability to construct, install, dismantle, relocate, modify and/or repair OEM equipment of all types
